Customs says US out of Russia’s top 10 trade partners
MOSCOW, Sep 13 (PRIME) -- The U.S. has dropped out of Russia's top 10 trading partners, trade turnover between the two countries fell by about 65%, Deputy Director of the Federal Customs Service Vladimir Ivin told PRIME on Tuesday.
“We used to have very good trade with the U.S., they were always in the top 10 partners, and now they are not. So we have a 65% fall in trade with the U.S.,” he said.
He added that India joined the top 10.
The share of the U.S. dollar in the contract terms in Russia decreased by 40% and of the euro fell by 30%, he also said.
